Private Training available for Massage and Bowen Therapy

Due to popular demand we started training our students privately in 2010. Since then, more than half of our students are choosing to enrol in a 1 on 1 course over a group course. Mentor style training is hard to get these days and we are finding it a very successful way to teach.

Some of the obvious advantages are:

• No pressure to keep up with the rest of the class or the other way round.


• Training schedule is very flexible to fit in with busy life styles. Training can be done on weekends or evenings.


• Courses can be completed even faster.


• Teaching with 1 person is much more efficient than trying making sure 10 people are happy and doing things correctly.


• More information can be covered due to the above point.


• The training is more personalised. What is taught can really be tapered to the capacity or interest of the student. There are many different styles of massage integrated into the Hoffman Massage System. For example; some people like to learn gentle relaxation massage and others want to learn deep tissue therapeutic styles. In a 1 on 1 course this can be catered for whereas in a class course things are a lot more structured to cater for everyone.


• You have 100% of the teacher’s attention at all times so in this situation students are much more comfortable and encouraged to ask questions. In class courses we find people are not as comfortable to ask questions or ask a teacher to go over something again when they didn't fully understand a technique or some theory.

Private training fees

The course fees for the Certificate course done as private training is $2200 and the Diploma course is $3450. There is a $400 non-refundable deposit required for the courses. If you would like to enrol in private training please email or call us.

Online training coming soon

We are currently developing our course material and getting it all online. The aim of this is to make our training more readily available and will shorten the time you require with a teacher. Once all the online material has been completed all you will need to cover with a teacher is the practical side of things. All the online videos and material will remain available.
